WaterCAD and WaterGEMS

WaterCAD and WaterGEMS (Bentley Systems, Incorporated, Haestad Solutions Center) are a complete geographic information management system for your water utility in a cost-effective package that saves you money each time you use it. Analyze water quality, determine fire flow requirements, calibrate large distribution networks and more with WaterCADג€™s powerful hydraulic analysis tools. WaterCAD is a sophisticated tool that enables engineers and decision makers to analyze and manage distribution networks with unprecedented accuracy and efficiency.

WaterCAD is the entry level product which solves for flow and pressure in piping networks with some enhancements in terms of:

  • Scenario management
  • Fire flow analysis
  • Variable speed pumping
  • System head curves
  • Construction cost analysis
  • Energy cost analysis
  • Totalizing flow meter
  • Import and export to and from a variety of data sources
  • CAD polyline to pipe import
  • Profiles
  • Extraction of elevations from AutoCAD
  • Export of model to transient analysis model
  • Flex tables
  • User defined data
  • Model cleanup
  • Quick edit
  • Flex units

WaterCAD can be run as a stand alone model or from within AutoCAD.

WaterGEMS is a superset of WaterCAD that contains all the WaterCAD functionality with some important additional features which are extra cost items in WaterCAD. These include:

  • Ability to run model with ArcGIS
  • Import of GIS data to automatically build model
  • Automated skeletonization of systems
  • Ability to develop model demands from data or other spatial data
  • Darwin calibrator for automated calibration
  • Darwin designer for automated pipe sizing and rehabilitation
  • Extraction of elevation data from digital elevation models

Yes, I build up the water modelling and after entering all the data i try to validate the model before i run it, the problems which i have is the connection between the junction and the pipes. i try to reconnect it but still the problem remain the same, please can you help me to solve that?
